These gear reduction starters are made in the United States using a U.S. Manufactured gear train and an imported electric motor. Designed and engineered for the 404.
Starter weighs about 60% of the weight of the stock starter, and spins the engine WAY faster on startup. Designed and engineered for the 404. We have delivered hundreds of the Pinzgauer gear reduction starters which are using the same US Made/Patented gear train.
The kit comes with installation instructions, and all mounting hardware.
