Inner axle shaft seal used on the front axle as of axle number 10 7023947, which is from late 1982.
This seal basically keeps the gear oil in the differential from migrating out to the CV's and hubs.
One seal per axle shaft is required. That's two if you are rebuilding the front axle.
These seals are included in our complete axle service kit for the W460. If you have a W463 you will need to order 2.
