Gear Reduction Starters

Starter technology has come a long way in the last 40-50 years!  The gear reduction starters use a gear cluster to increase the torque and speed of the pinion.  At the same time they reduce the weight of the starter by well over 50% and we find them to be more reliable.  We regularly get reports from customers wishing they had changed over sooner.
