If Expedition Imports ships the wrong part or a defective part, we will refund 100% of your invoice, including the return shipping. (We will not refund more shipping than was originally charged.) For regular returns, there is a restocking fee of 15% for items returned within 30 days. After 30 days there are NO returns. All returns must have an RMA number issued by EI.  Contact Customer Support.  Do not send returns by COD. We will refuse them. Returns require copy of original invoice. We will not refund parts that have been used, previously installed, painted, or modified. NO refunds on special order parts, tires, or electrical parts. If you have a concern give us a call, we are pretty easy!


Question:  I need to return a part.  What do I do?
Answer:  Login to your account and create a ticket.  EI will respond with an RMA number.  If the error is EI's issue, we can issue a return label and coordinate the pickup.

Question:  Why do you charge a restocking fee?
Answer:  To cover our costs.  We pay labor to pull and pack, credit card processing fees (3-4.5%), and wear and tear on the parts/inspection to prepare them for sale again.  Returns also wreak havoc on inventory re-order points for slow moving parts.  Prior to our restocking fee we were having issues with customers ordering parts not actually needed for the job, with the intention of returning the un-needed parts.  There is nothing like pulling a 35 line item order, and 3 weeks later receiving 18 lines back because the mechanic didn't need the parts....  Bottom line - Returns impact overall parts pricing.
