If the outside face of your wheel has gear oil on it, this seal is probably leaking. Make sure you have a heavy puller to remove 281. This seal is a German Made double lip aftermarket seal and works as well as the MB Kaco seal. This is the preferred seal by our tour operators in Mexico as it is more cost effective and they have seen no decrease in longevity compared to the MB seal.
